“Alone” is a song by Norwegian record producer and DJ Alan Walker. The song was released on 2 December 2016 through MER Musikk and Sony Music, as the lead single from Walker’s debut studio album, Different World (2018). The song features uncredited vocals from Danish singer-songwriter Noonie Bao. “Alone” peaked atop the charts in Denmark and Norway, and became a top 30 hit in over 10 countries, including Australia, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The song was written by Alan Walker, Anders Froen and Jesper Borgen.Walker originally composed the track for his younger sister Ashley following the death of their father. In an interview with Bravo Tracker, Walker explained that he wanted to create a “uplifting” and “positive” song to represent how those who have been through tough times can maintain hope.

The official music video for “Alone” was uploaded onto YouTube on 5 December 2016. It features a young woman walking through an abandoned city while being pursued by hostile humanoid figures. The video has amassed over 1 billion views on YouTube as of November 2019.

“Fade” by Alan Walker

If you’re a fan of electronic music, then you’ve probably heard of Alan Walker. The Norwegian DJ and record producer rose to fame with his single “Fade,” which was released in 2015. “Fade” is a progressive house and future bass track that features vocals from Iselin Solheim. The song was a hit, peaking at number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and number four on the US Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

“Spectre” by Alan Walker
