Who Can Audition?

Auditions are open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of their Audition.

How To Audition

To audition, eligible participants must first upload a video of themselves singing or dancing to any song by any artist signed to UMLE (see list of artists below) onto YouTube. Then, participants must go to ____ website and fill out the application. The last day to apply is ____.

After the auditions close, a panel of music experts will select 10 finalists. The finalists will be flown to Los Angeles, where they will compete in front of a live audience and a panel of celebrity judges for the grand prize: a recording contract with UMLE. In addition, the first and second runners-up will receive prizes including mentoring sessions with established UMLE artists, music industry professionals and the opportunity to perform at select UMLE events.

What Happens After The Audition?

What happens after you submit your audition video?

First, our team of music experts will watch every single video that comes in. We’re looking for natural talent, originality, and personality. If we like what we see, we’ll invite you to come to our office for an in-person meeting.

At the in-person meeting, you’ll get to meet some of the people you could be working with if you’re signed to UMLE. We’ll talk about your musical influences and what kind of artist you want to be. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions you have about the company or the audition process.

After the meeting, we’ll decide if we want to offer you a record deal. If we do, congratulations! You’re on your way to becoming the next big Latin music star.
