“Uptown Funk” is a song by British-American record producer Mark Ronson from his fourth studio album, Uptown Special (2015). The song features American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars on vocals. It was released as the album’s lead single on 10 November 2014 in the United Kingdom and 20 November 2014 in the United States. The song topped the charts in many countries, including the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. In the UK, it became the second longest-running number one single in history, after Duran Duran’s “The Wild Boys”.
