How to Vote

You can vote for the Latin American Music Awards 2021 by going to the website latinamericanmusicawards.com and clicking on the ‘Vote’ button. You will need to create an account and login to vote. After you login, you will be able to see the list of nominees in each category. You can vote for your favorite artists in each category by clicking on the ‘Vote’ button next to their name. Make sure to cast your votes before the deadline!

Visit the official website of the Latin American Music Awards 2021. You will find a list of all the nominees in different categories. Click on the category you want to vote for and then select your preferred nominee. Fill out the form with your personal details and submit your vote.

Register or sign in

The Latin American Music Awards (LAMAS) are around the corner, and Sofar Sounds is proud to be a part of it. Below, we’ll show you how to register or sign in to your account so you can start voting for your favorite artists.

1. Visit the LAMAS website.
2. Click on the ” Register/Sign In” button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
3. If you already have an account, enter your email address and password in the fields provided and click on the “Sign In” button. If you don’t have an account, click on the “Create an Account” button.
4. Enter your information in the fields provided and click on the “Submit” button.
5. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Vote Now” button to start voting for your favorite artists in each category!

Vote

You can vote for the Latin American Music Awards 2021 by visiting the website and logging in with your email address. You will then be able to vote for your favorite artists in each of the categories.

When to Vote

It’s that time of the year where the best of the best in Latin American music are nominated for the prestigious Latin American Music Awards 2021! This year’s show is sure to be a good one, but only if you vote! Here’s everything you need to know about voting for the Latin American Music Awards 2021.

The eligibility period

The eligibility period for the Latin American Music Awards is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020.

The voting period

The voting period for the 2021 Latin American Music Awards will be open from Monday, March 1 at 8:00 a.m. ET until Friday, April 9 at 5:00 p.m. ET. You can vote once per day (24 hours) for your favorite artists in all of the social media categories, and 10 times per day (24 hours) in all of the other categories.

Who Can Vote

The Latin American Music Awards (LAMAs) are back and voting is now open to the public! The LAMAs are an annual awards show that celebrates the best and brightest in Latin music. This year’s show will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on Telemundo.

Latin American Music Awards Academy members

The Latin American Music Awards Academy is made up of professional music nominees and industry experts who vote on the winners of the Latin American Music Awards. If you are a member of the Academy, you can vote for your favorite nominees between March 15 and April 5, 2021.

U.S. and Puerto Rican residents

U.S. and Puerto Rican residents age 13 years or older with a valid email address can vote for their favorite artists and songs daily in up to 20 categories.

How Are the Winners Chosen?

The Latin American Music Awards are an annual awards show that celebrates Latin American music. The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions and Telemundo. The show airs live on the NBC network. Voting for the Latin American Music Awards is open to the public.

A panel of music experts

Every year, a panel of music experts from across the globe convene to discuss and decide which artists and albums deserve to be nominated for a Latin Grammy. In order to be eligible, an album must have been released between July 1 of the previous year and June 30 of the current year.

To be considered for an award, an artist must submit their work to the Latin Recording Academy. Once all of the submissions have been received, the Academy’s voting members will rate each entry on a scale of 1-10. The album with the highest average score will be nominated in each category.

Categories

The Latin American Music Awards are back for their sixth year and voting is now open in all categories! The awards show will take place on Thursday, October 8th at the Dick Clark Productions Stage on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You can vote for your favorite artists in the following categories:

Album of the Year

To be eligible, an album must have been released between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. Albums must contain at least five different new tracks or a minimum of 35% new material to be considered eligible.

Artist of the Year

The award for Artist of the Year at the Latin American Music Awards 2021 will go to one of the five nominees listed below. These artists have all had a significant impact on Latin music this year, and any of them would be a deserving winner.

New Artist of the Year

You can vote once per day in each of the following categories: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock, Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, Favorite Band, Duo or Group – Pop/Rock, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock.

To vote in the New Artist of the Year category:

-First, make sure you’re logged in or create an account.
-Then click on the “New Artist” tile.
-On the next page, select your favorite new artist from the drop-down list.
-Once you’ve made your selection, click on the “Cast Vote” button.

Tour of the Year

The Latin American Music Awards (LAMAS) recognizes the achievements of Latin artists in the United States. The 2021 ceremony will air on October 20, 2021 and will feature live performances from some of the biggest names in Latin music.

Social Artist of the Year

The Social Artist of the Year award is given to the Latin artist who has shown the most influence and engagement on social networks. This award is based on data from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020.

Previous Winners

The Latin American Music Awards is an annual American music award show that honors the most popular Latin artists in the United States. The show was established in 2016 by the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences to recognize the most successful Latin recordings of the year. The show is broadcast live on the Telemundo network.

2019

In 2019, the Latin American Music Awards were held on October 17 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The show was hosted by Alejandra Espinoza and Leozman. Daddy Yankee won Artist of the Year, while Bad Bunny took home New Artist of the Year and Favorite Male Artist – Urban. Ozuna was named Favorite Male Artist – Tropical, while Romeo Santos won Favorite Artist – Bachata. In the Collaboration of the Year category, Bad Bunny and Drake’s “Mia” won, while Maluma’s “Felices los 4” was named Song of the Year.

2020

The 2020 American Music Awards took place on Sunday, November 22, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
