The Score

When it comes to the score of “Soul”, it is largely comprised of original songs composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The two Nine Inch Nails members were brought on to the project relatively late in the game, with the film’s original composer, Peter Gabriel, having left the project due to creative differences. Reznor and Ross ended up being a perfect fit for the film, with their unique style perfectly complementing its visuals. Out of the film’s fourteen original songs, only two are not composed by Reznor and Ross – “Runnin'” by Lucki, and “My Collection” by Raphael Saadiq.
