The event also included food and merchandise vendors, as well as a kids’ zone.

In 2001, the Wisconsin Gospel Music Festival moved to the Summerfest grounds on Milwaukee’s lakefront. The event has been held on the Summerfest grounds every year since then.

In 2020, the Wisconsin Gospel Music Festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
