Next, click on the “Bing Webmaster tools” tab and sign in with your Microsoft account. Once you’re signed in, select your website from the list of verified sites. If your site isn’t listed, you can add it by clicking on the “Add a Site” button.

Find and fix multiple H1 tags

If you have more than one H1 tag on your page, you’ll want to fix that. Having multiple H1 tags can be confusing for search engines, and it’s not great for usability, either.

Ideally, you should only have one H1 tag per page. If you must have more than one (for example, if you have a blog post with multiple sections), make sure they’re all different and make sense in the context of the page.

Off-Page SEO

Off-page SEO (also called “off-site SEO”) refers to actions taken outside of your website to improve your search engine rankings.Off-page SEO is about building relationships and getting other people to talk about your website and your content. The more people that talk about you, the better.

Once you have an understanding of their general link profile, it’s time to take a closer look at the individual links. A good place to start is by looking at the anchor text used for their links. This can give you insights into the keywords they’re targeting and how successful they are at ranking for those keywords.

Finally, take a look at the actual sites that are linking to your competitor. Are these high-quality websites? If so, it may be worth trying to get a link from them as well. If not, you may want to avoid building similar links as they may not be as valuable.

Link intersect is a link research technique that lets you find out which websites are linking to your competitors, but not to you.

How does it work?

Here’s how you conduct a link intersect analysis:

1. Choose up to 5 of your competitors that rank ahead of you for a target keyword (You can use tools like ahrefs, moz, or semrush to find this)

Make a list of their root domains. For example, if your competitor was www.example1.com, you would just put example1.com on your list.

2. Now go to ahrefs and enter each of these domains into the Site Explorer tool one at a time

Click on the “Backlinks” tab and then scroll down and click on the “Referring Domains” report

3. Next, export this list of referring domains into a spreadsheet

At this point, you should have a spreadsheet with 3 columns and a bunch of rows – one row for each referring domain

The first column should have the competitor name (e.g., example 1), the second column should have the referring domain (e.g., example2 .com), and the third column should be left blank for now

4. Go through each row and manually check if the referring domain links to you

If they do link to you, leave that row as is

If they don’t link to you, add “NO LINK” into the third column for that row

5. Once you’ve gone through all the rows, delete any that say “NO LINK” in column three – these are websites that link to your competitor but not to you!

To improve your own website’s SEO, you should take advantage of your competitor’s broken backlinks. A broken backlink is a link to a website that no longer exists. When a website goes offline, all of the links to that site become broken. However, the link itself is still valuable real estate. By finding and targeting your competitor’s broken backlinks, you can improve your own site’s SEO.

Here’s how to do it:

1) Use a tool like Ahrefs or Majestic to find your competitor’s broken backlinks.

2) Reach out to the websites that are linking to your competitor’s broken links and ask them to link to your site instead.

3) Monitor your results and adjust your strategy as necessary.
