The Best of the Rest

Misfits – “Devil’s Whorehouse”

The Misfits are an American punk rock band often credited with starting the horror punk subgenre. The band formed in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, and had a strong influence on the development of punk rock and heavy metal. The band’s name comes from The Monster Manual, a book used in the role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons.

“Devil’s Whorehouse” is a song from the Misfits’ 2015 album of the same name. The song is a fast-paced, hardcore punk anthem with lyrics that deal with themes of rebellion and resistance. The song was released as a single on November 17, 2015, and received positive reviews from critics.
