Boyz II Men’s second album, II (1994) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and featured “I’ll Make Love to You”, which topped the Hot 100 for a record-setting 14 weeks. The album sold more than 12 million copies in the United States alone, earning an diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The group’s third album, Evolution (1997), was also very successful selling seven million copies in the United States alone and earning them another diamond certification from the RIAA.

The group has toured extensively throughout their career performing at various music festivals and headlining their own concert tours. Boyz II Men has also been featured on several soundtracks including The Bodyguard soundtrack (1992), Space Jam soundtrack (1996), Batman Forever soundtrack (1995) and Boys (1996).

TLC

originally an American girl group whose final and best-known lineup consisted of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chili” Thomas. Formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1990, the group enjoyed success during the early 1990s with hit singles such as “Creep”, “Waterfalls”, and “No Scrubs” before dissipating in 2002 after Lopes’ death.

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer and songwriter. She is credited with helping to popularize the use of melisma in pop music and for her intricate vocal runs and powerful vocal belting technique. Carey is the second artist in history (after Elvis Presley) to have their first five singles top the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, from “Vision of Love” to “Love Takes Time”, a record she shares withBoyz II Men. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, she has sold more than 200 million copies of her albums in the United States as of 2014. Throughout her career, Carey has won five Grammy Awards, 19 World Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards, eight Billboard Music Awards and 31 MTV Video Music Awards.

She was ranked as the best-selling female artist of the 1990s in the United States, and was also recognized as one of the most successful female artists of all time by Billboard magazine. In 1998, Carey released her album #1’s, which compiled all of her number-one hits up until that point in her career. In 2001, she suffered a physical and emotional breakdown and was hospitalized for several weeks as a result. Shortly thereafter, Carey resumed work on her upcoming album Glitter (2001).

Whitney Houston

One of the most popular and successful artists of the 90s, Whitney Houston is a singer and actress known for her powerful vocal range and hits like “I Will Always Love You.” Houston sold over 200 million records and won numerous awards, including six Grammy Awards and 22 American Music Awards.
