Atlanta Area Friends of Folk Music is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of folk music and related dance in the Atlanta area.
We are one of the oldest continuing presenter of traditional music in the Southeast, having sponsored concerts and dances continuously since 1957. Our organization is a 501(c)(3) educational corporation, chartered in the state of Georgia.
Our mission is to bring traditional music and dance to as many people as possible, and to provide comprehensive resources for musicians, dancers, researchers and fans.
