Latin American Music Awards 2021 took place on Thursday, October 8, at the Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA. The awards show was hosted by Leslie Grace and featured live performances by some of the biggest names in Latin music. This year’s show was especially significant because it marked the 20th anniversary of the Latin American Music Awards.

Los Angeles

The Latin American Music Awards (LAMAS) is an annual American music award ceremony that is broadcast live on the Telemundo cable network. The awards ceremony honors the most popular artists in Latin music, as determined by online votes cast by fans. This year’s show was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on April 15, 2021.

The show was hosted by Mexican singer and songwriter Becky G and Colombian reggaeton artist Maluma.

The nominees for the 2021 Latin American Music Awards were announced on March 3, 2021. Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny led the nominations with nine, followed by Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin with eight. Mexican singer Ozuna received seven nods, while Spanish singer ROSALÍA and Portuguese fado singer Mariza each earned six nominations.
