The History of Frostfang Radio

Frostfang Radio has been delivering the best in metal and heavy music since 2001. We’re proud to be the world’s largest and most comprehensive metal radio station, with over 150,000 Watts of power broadcasting 24/7.

Frostfang Radio was founded by brothers Erik and Lars Frostfang in 2001. The two had been involved in the metal scene since the early 1990s, when they started a small underground metal magazine called Fimbulvetr. Frostfang Radio was born out of their love for metal music and their desire to create a platform that would promote and support the genre.

Since its inception, Frostfang Radio has grown exponentially, reaching listeners all over the world. We now have over 150,000 Watts of power broadcasting 24/7, making us the largest and most comprehensive metal radio station in the world. In addition to our round-the-clock programming, we also produce a weekly podcast that features interviews with some of the biggest names in metal.
