Slayer-Repentless

Slayer is an American metal band from Huntington Park, California, formed in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman. Slayer’s fast and aggressive musical style made them one of the founding “big four” bands of thrash metal, alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax. Slayer’s current lineup comprises King, lead vocalist/bassist Tom Araya, drummer Paul Bostaph and guitarist Gary Holt. Hanneman and drummers Dave Lombardo and Jon Dette are former members of the band.

In the original line-up, King, Hanneman, and lead vocalist/bassist Araya contributed to the band’s lyrics about serial killers, necrophilia, Satanism, mass murder (both spree killings and genocides), and other topics that generated controversy among religious groups. Since the front man’s incorporation in 1986, guitarist Kerry King has remained one of the only two original members in Slayer (the other being bassist/vocalist Tom Araya). With twenty-eight years of recording history behind them – during which time they have released twelve studio albums – Slayer has amassed a dedicated global following; their popularity was further bolstered by extensive touring throughout the 1990s and 2000s. While continuing to release albums to mixed reviews throughout their career – most recently with World Painted Blood in 2009 – Slayer has maintained a cult following.

On May 2nd 2017 Slayer released Repentless their first album in six years since World Painted Blood Repentless is pure slayer it is heavy fast relentless! this album is a must for any metal fan!
