The Winter Music Conference is an annual gathering of electronic music professionals in Miami, Florida. It began in 1985 and is currently held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Miami Music Week (MMW) is an annual winter music conference, held in Miami, Florida, that is a gathering of electronic musicians and music industry professionals from all over the world. The conference is not just for electronic music fans, but for anyone who is interested in the business and culture of electronic music.
MMW was founded in 1999 by Winter Music Conference (WMC) founder Louis Possenti. WMC is a long-standing annual event that takes place in Miami every March, and it is one of the biggest conferences of its kind in the world. In recent years, MMW has become increasingly popular, with over 30,000 attendees from more than 80 countries flock to Miami each year to attend the conference.
