“Money”
It’s all about the money, money, money
Money, money, money
It’s all about the money, money, money
Money, money, money
I need thatmoney I got to have thatmoney
I’m trying to live better so I’m gonna get thatmoney
Develop somethin so I can give back somethin
They was talkin’ crumbs so now we talkin’ lunches
Switchin’ up styles so they can’t box me in it
New bag alert New shoes alert got ’em paid in full Been working overtime night and day on my grind Message: I can’t come to the phone right now I’m on my way to get some more Money
“Press”
Cardi B’s “Press”plays on the trope of the gangster boss giving a press conference. It’s nothing new, but it’s a solid banger with a great beat and Cardi’s inimitable delivery. The video is predictably high energy, with Cardi surrounded by scantily clad women and lots of cash. It’s worth a watch just for the fashion – Cardi is rocking some serious designer duds.
Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X is an upcoming American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his breakout single, “Old Town Road”, which achieved viral popularity on TikTok and peaked at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut EP, 7, was released on June 21, 2019.
“Old Town Road”
“Old Town Road” is a song by American rapper Lil Nas X, first released independently in December 2018. The song achieved viral popularity in March 2019 after being tweeted by the Twitter user @thepracticaldev and then gaining traction on the video-sharing app TikTok. Lil Nas X subsequently signed with Columbia Records, which released a remixed version of the song featuring country artist Billy Ray Cyrus in April 2019. This remix helped the song peak at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for a record-breaking 19 consecutive weeks, becoming both Lil Nas X’s and Cyrus’ first number one single on the chart.
The original version of “Old Town Road” blended country and trap genres, which resulted in controversy over its classification as country music. Following Billboard removing the song from their country music charts, Lil Nas X stated that he understands why people would call it country trap, but he considers it to simply be “country”.
“Panini”
Lil Nas X is back with a new single called “Panini,” and it’s sure to be a summer bop. The rapper teased the track on social media earlier this week, sharing a snippet of the song and its accompanying music video.
“Panini” is a more laid-back track than Lil Nas X’s previous hits, “Old Town Road” and “Rodeo.” It samples Nirvana’s “In Bloom” and features a guest verse from American rapper DaBaby.
The music video for “Panini” was directed by Mike Diva and Lil Nas X, and it features animated versions of the two rappers. It starts off with Lil Nas X driving in his car, before he’s pulled over by DaBaby (in police officer Uniform) and ticketed for having an expired license. The two then go on a wild chase through the city, evading capture by the police.
Eventually, they make it to a fast food restaurant, where they order some food. However, they are confronted by the police once again. This time, however, they are able to escape and make their way to safety.
Lil Nas X has said that “Panini” is about chasing your dreams, no matter what obstacles are in your way. And based on the song’s success so far – it’s already peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 – it seems like his dream is coming true.

Upon release digitally and to streaming services, “Goodbyes” is included on Hollywood’s Bleeding as its sixth track.”

Writing for HotNewHipHop, Sugar Jones praised it as a commercial success that remains catch despite being different than what is typical for both artists. They went on to say “‘Goodbyes’ might just be [Malone’s] biggest hit yet.” Mike Nied of Idolator opined that with this track Malone returns to his winning streak after the mixed response to previous single “Circles”, while also saying that it shows he knows how to have fun with music.
