Skrillex

Sonny John Moore, better known by his stage name Skrillex, is an American electronic music producer, DJ, and singer-songwriter. He first gained international fame with the release of his 2011 EP, Bangarang. Skrillex has won a total of eight Grammy Awards and holds the world record for most Grammy Awards won by an electronic dance music artist.

“Bangarang”

“Bangarang” is a song by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released as a single on December 23, 2011. The song features guest vocals from Sirah. It is the lead single from his EP of the same name, Bangarang.

The song debuted at number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has since peaked at number 46. On February 12, 2013, the song was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of over 2,000,000 copies in the United States.

“Make It Bun Dem”

Skrillex’s “Make It Bun Dem” was one of the top dubstep tracks of 2012. The song features a heavy bassline and Skrillex’s signature screeching synths. The song became an instant hit with dubstep fans and was quickly hailed as one of the best dubstep tracks of the year.

Nero is a British dubstep trio composed of members Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray and Alana Watson. Their music style consists of dark, minimal techno and heavy basslines. Nero has been hailed as one of the leading artists in the dubstep genre. Let’s take a look at some of their top tracks of 2012.

“Me and You”

Nero is a British dubstep trio composed of members Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray and Alana Watson. Their debut album, Welcome Reality, was released in August 2011 to critical and commercial success, peaking at number one on the UK Albums Chart. Nero’s second studio album, Between II Worlds, was released on 10 October 2015.

Nero’s music has been featured in television and film, including CSI: Miami, worked with Director X on a commercial for Adidas Originals and remixed Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”. They have won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for “Promises” as well as an MTV Video Music Award.

“Promises”

Nero is a three-person English dubstep group from London, consisting of members Daniel Stephens, Joe Ray and Alana Watson. Their music consists mainly of instrumental remixes of mainstream pop songs, which are frequently in the form of electronica and heavy basslines. Nero’s popularity has grown rapidly in recent years, largely due to their association with the 2010 dubstep Burial song “Innards Out”, as well as their 2011single “Promises”, which peaked at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart.

Nero’s first official release was the song “Space 2001”, which was included on Elliot Wave’s The Global 303 Bass compilation album in 2004. In 2006, Nero released two singles, “This Way” and “Requiem”, on Chase & Status’ DnB label MTA Records. In February 2011, Nero won a Grammy Award for their remix of “Promises” by Calvin Harris at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.

Rusko

Rusko is a dubstep producer and DJ from Leeds, England. He is best known for his hit song “Hold On”, which was released in 2011. Rusko has been producing music since 2006 and has released two studio albums.

“Somebody to Love”

The song “Somebody to Love” was written by Rusko in early 2012 as a dubstep single. The song was released on iTunes on March 6, 2012. “Somebody to Love” is Rusko’s fourth single, and his first released under the name “Rusko”.

The song was well received by fans and critics alike. Allmusic’s David Jeffries praised the song, saying that it “sounds like sunshine blasting out of car speakers on a hot day”. DJ Magazine also gave the song a positive review, describing it as ” feel-good summertime anthem”.

“Hold On”

“Hold On” is a song by Rusko, released as a single on March 5, 2012. The song debuted at number one on the UK Dance Singles Chart, making it Rusko’s fourth consecutive number-one single.
