A list of the best psychedelic rock albums of 2020.

The Psychedelic Furs- “Love My Way”

The Psychedelic Furs are an English rock band founded in February 1977. Led by singer Richard Butler and his brother Tim Butler on bass guitar, the Psychedelic Furs are one of the most enduring and beloved bands of the post-punk era.

The band’s 1984 album Mirror Moves made them global stars, thanks in part to the MTV hits “Love My Way” and “Pretty in Pink.” The album also helped to cement the band’s reputation as one of the finest purveyors of darkly poetic, anthemic rock & roll.

The Psychedelic Furs’ last studio album was 1991’s World Outside, but they have continued to tour and perform over the years. In 2001, they released a live album called Beautiful Garbage, which featured new versions of some of their classic songs.

The band’s first new album in 29 years, Made of Stone, was released in 2020. The record features re-recorded versions of some of the band’s best-known songs, including “Love My Way,” “Pretty in Pink,” and “Heaven.”

The Stone Roses- “Fool’s Gold”

The Stone Roses’ debut album is one of the most iconic and important albums not only of the Madchester era, but of all time. “Fool’s Gold” is the perfect example of what made the band so great: it’s a timeless, incredible song that somehow manages to be both blissfully catchy and hypnotically atmospheric at the same time. If you’re looking for a starting point to get into The Stone Roses, there’s no better place than this.

The Charlatans- “The Only One I Know”

The Charlatans’ debut album, Some Friendly, is one of the defining albums of the Madchester scene, and “The Only One I Know” is its best-known song. A paean to friendship and fellowship in the face of adversity, it’s a rousing call to arms that never fails to lift the spirits.

Oasis- “Champagne Supernova”

The album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? is the second studio album by English rock band Oasis, released on 2 October 1995 by Creation Records. It was produced by Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher.

While “Wonderwall” is the most popular single off the album, “Champagne Supernova” is considered by many fans to be the best track on the album, and one of Oasis’s best songs period. The song was written in tribute to Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd.

The Verve- “Bitter Sweet Symphony”

The Verve’s “Bitter Sweet Symphony” is one of the best psychedelic rock albums of 2020. The album has a very unique sound, and it’s one of the few albums that can truly be said to be experimental.

The album features a lot of different sounds and textures, and it’s clear that The Verve were trying to push the boundaries of what was possible with their music. The result is an album that is both beautiful and strange, and that feels like it’s from another world entirely.

If you’re looking for an album that will take you on a journey, then “Bitter Sweet Symphony” is definitely worth checking out.
