Contents
Welcome to My House! Here you’ll find posts on everything from interior design and home improvement to music and pop culture. And feel free to play that music too loud – we don’t mind!
Make Your Entrance
You know what they say, make your entrance known! This is definitely true when it comes to music. You want your guests to know that they are in for a good time when they hear that first beat. But, how do you make sure your music is loud enough?
Come on in!
You know the saying, “my home is my castle”? Well, that’s how I feel about my house. It’s a place where I can be myself, let loose, and just relax. So when you come over, I want you to feel the same way. Here are some ground rules to make sure everyone has a good time.
First and foremost, come on in and make yourself at home! No need to knock or wait for an invitation, just come on in. I want you to feel comfortable here, like this is your second home. That includes feeling free to make yourself something to eat or drink. raid the fridge or cupboards if you’re hungry or thirsty – there’s no need to ask permission. And while we’re on the subject of food and drink, please don’t hesitate to help yourself to whatever we have regardless of whether it’s “mine” or “yours.” We’re all friends here!
As for noise level, please feel free to play music as loud as you want! I know some people like peace and quiet when they come over, but that’s not how we do things here. We like to let loose and have fun, so crank up the tunes and dance around if you feel like it! Just be considerate of others if they happen to be sleeping or studying – we can tone it down for them if need be.
Lastly, there are no strangers here – only friends we haven’t met yet! So even if we don’t know each other well, please don’t hesitate to join in on any conversations or activities going on. We welcome newcomers with open arms and would love to get to know you better.
So there you have it! Those are the ground rules for my house. Just remember: relax, have fun, and make yourself at home!
Let Me Take Your Coat
The first thing you do when you enter someone’s home is take your coat off, right? That’s because it’s considered rude to keep your coat on in somebody else’s house. It shows that you’re not planning on staying long, or that you’re not really comfortable there. Plus, it’s just plain old hot and uncomfortable to wear a coat indoors!
Get Comfortable
I want you to be so comfortable that you feel like you’re at home. I want you to be able to put your feet up on the furniture, crank up the music, and make yourself a drink. I want you to be able to relax and not worry about a thing. So go ahead and get comfortable. Welcome to my house!
Make Yourself at Home
My home is your home! I want you to feel as comfortable here as possible. If you need anything, just let me know. And if you want to play music, go ahead! I don’t mind if it’s loud.
Put Your Feet Up
Please, make yourself at home. Have a seat, put your feet up, and relax. If you want to listen to music, go ahead and turn it up loud. We don’t stand on formality here.
We want you to be comfortable, so Wright down if you need to. And if you get hungry, help yourself to whatever is in the fridge.
crank up the volume
make some noise, let’s get this party started! there’s no need to be shy, let your hair down and enjoy yourself. we’re here to have a good time, so crank up the volume and let’s get this party started!
Turn It Up!
No matter what genre of music you’re into, there’s nothing quite like cranking up the volume and letting your favorite tunes take over. For some, it’s the only way to truly enjoy music. But if you’re blasting your tunes too loud, you could be doing serious damage to your hearing.
According to the World Health Organization, 1.1 billion young people are at risk of developing hearing loss because of exposure to loud noise. And it’s not just from going to concerts or clubs – listening to music through headphones can be just as damaging.
So how loud is too loud? The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association says that any sound over 85 decibels can be harmful, and the louder the sound, the shorter amount of time it takes for damage to occur. To put that into perspective, most normal conversations take place at about 60 decibels, and a sound like a lawnmower is about 90 decibels. Some headphones can produce sound at up to 115 decibels – that’s almost as loud as a rock concert!
If you enjoy listening to music loudly, there are some things you can do to reduce your risk of hearing loss. The first is to give your ears a break every now and then – try not to listen to music for more than an hour at a time at high volumes. You should also try to keep the volume down on your headphones – anything below 85 decibels should be safe. And if you’re going to be in a noisy environment for extended periods of time, like a club or concert, make sure to wear earplugs or earmuffs.
By taking these precautions, you can enjoy your music without putting your hearing at risk!
Let the Good Times Roll
Now that you are here, let’s get this party started! I want to you to have a good time, so crank up the volume and let the good times roll! There is no need to be shy, so let loose and enjoy yourselves!
