The Indie rock band, The Flaming Lips, has just released a new alien music video for their song, “Sun Blows Up Today.” The video is a trippy, psychedelic journey that is sure to leave you feeling out of this world.

Introduction

Today, indie rock band The Shacks released their new music video for the song “Alien.” The ethereal and dreamlike video features footage of the band performing in a dimly lit room, with occasional shots of close-ups of frontman Eugene Hütz’s face as he sings. Interspersed throughout are shots of what appear to be aliens or creatures from another world.

The Band

The band is an American rock band from New York City. The group’s lineup currently consists of lead vocalist and guitarist John Cooper, bassist Jared Followill, drummer Nathan Followill and guitarist Matthew Followill.

The Band has released six studio albums and four live albums. Their debut album, Youth and Young Manhood (2003), was a commercial success in the United Kingdom, receiving triple platinum certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). It spawned the singles “Molly’s Chambers”, “Red Morning Light” and ” Riyadh (I Wanna Be Your Dog)”. Their second album, Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), was also successful in the UK, receiving gold certification from the BPI. It produced three singles: “Trani”, “Four Kicks” and “King of the Rodeo”.

After a five-year hiatus, the Band returned with their fifth album, Come Around Sundown (2010), which debuted at number one on Billboard 200 and produced the hit single “Radioactive”, which peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In September 2012, they released their sixth studio album, Mechanical Bull.

The Music Video

The new music video from the indie rock band, “The Greys”, is an ethereal and otherworldly look at what might happen if aliens made contact with us. The video starts with a close up of a man’s face, who seems to be in some sort of trance. He is slowly floating up into the sky, until he is out of frame and we are left with a shot of the stars. We then see a UFO fly across the sky, followed by a series of shots of people all over the world staring up at the sky in awe.

The video then takes us inside the spaceship, where we see the man from the beginning being experimented on by aliens. We see them poking and prodding him, and even taking samples of his DNA. The video ends with a shot of the man’s face, this time with his eyes open wide in terror, as he realizes what is happening to him.

The music video is a perfect accompaniment to the band’s dark and atmospheric sound. It creates a feeling of unease and dread, which reflects the lyrics perfectly. The Greys are definitely a band to keep an eye on, and this video is just one example of their incredible talent.

The Reaction

The reaction to the video has been mixed, with some people loving the creative approach and others finding it confusing or simply strange. The band has said that they wanted to make a video that would be visually striking and that would really stand out from the crowd, and it seems like they’ve succeeded in doing just that.

Conclusion

The video for the song “Alien” by the indie rock band Foster the People is a true work of art. The video tells the story of an alien who comes to Earth and is befriended by a human. The two eventually have to say goodbye, but the bond they share is everlasting.

The video is incredibly well done, with excellent special effects and a great story. It’s definitely worth watching, especially if you’re a fan of Foster the People or aliens.
