Collective Soul is an American rock band originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Now based in Nashville, the band consists of lead singer Ed Roland, rhythm guitarist Dean Roland, lead guitarist Jesse Triplett, bassist Will Turpin, and drummer Johnny Rabb. Formed in 1992, they have released 8 studio albums and have had 19 top 10 singles on various Billboard charts. The group has sold over 20 million records worldwide.

The first album by American rock band Collective Soul was released in 1993 and was titled Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid. The album was an instant success. It reached number one on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and number five on the Billboard 200. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA in 1995.
