It’s time to vote for the Billboard Latin Music Awards! Here’s how you can cast your votes to make sure your favorite Latin artists take home the trophy. The Billboard Latin Music Awards is an annual awards show that recognizes the achievements of Latin artists in the United States.

How to vote

The Billboard Latin Music Awards are voted on by the BillboardLatin Music Awards committee, which is made up of music industry insiders and experts, including Latin music journalists, radio programmers, producers and retailers. The committee’s decisions are based on chart performance, as well as sales data and online activity.

What is the eligibility criteria?

To be eligible, an artist or group must have released at least one album during the eligibility period which is October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. An album is defined as follows:

-A minimum of five (5) new tracks or a minimum of 25 minutes of total new recorded music. -Not previously entered into the Awards process. -May be edited versions of previously released tracks. -Re-releases are not eligible.

How to vote

Billboard makes it easy to have your say in who takes home a Latin Music Award! You can vote online for your favorite artists in each of the 46 categories. Here’s how:

Online

Voting for the Latin Billboard Music Awards is easy! Visit LatinBillboards.com and login or register for an account. Then, simply fill out the form and click “submit” to cast your vote. You can vote once per day, so be sure to check back often to make sure your favorite artists are still in the running.

SMS

You can vote for your favorite nominees by text messaging. To do so, text the word VOTA followed by the Artist or Song to 55333. For example, to vote for Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” as Song of the Year, you would text VOTA DESPACITO to 55333. You can vote up to 10 times per day.

Twitter

To vote using Twitter, fans can Tweet or Retweet the Artist’s official nominated Twitter handle along with the corresponding category hashtag. For example, to vote for Luis Fonsi as Latin Pop Artist of the Year, fans would Tweet or Retweet:

@LuisFonsi #LatinPopArtist

You may only vote for each Artist once per day, per category.

How to Register to Vote

The Billboard Latin Music Awards are coming up and everyone is wondering how to vote! The process is actually pretty simple, but first, you need to make sure you’re registered to vote. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do that.

Online

It’s easy to register to vote online. All you need is a drivers license or state ID and an email address. Just go to vote.org and click on your state. They’ll walk you through the process step by step.

SMS

You can register to vote for the Billboard Latin Music Awards by SMS. To do so, text the word VOTA to 444999. You will then be asked to provide your full name, date of birth, and address. Once you have provided all of this information, you will be registered to vote.

Twitter

Twitter is one of the most popular social networking platforms, with over 330 million monthly active users. You can use Twitter to follow your favorite celebrities, brands, and businesses, and to stay up-to-date on current events. You can also use Twitter to register to vote!

Here’s how to register to vote on Twitter:

1. Go to twitter.com and log in or create an account if you don’t already have one.

3. Enter your date of birth and zip code to confirm that you are eligible to vote in the United States.
