How to get involved with Bloomington Opera

Opera is often thought of as a stuffy, old-fashioned art form, but the Bloomington Opera is working hard to change that perception. One way they are doing this is by performing opera specifically for toddlers.

The Bloomington Opera’s Music is a Delight for Toddlers program was created to introduce children aged 2-4 to opera in a fun and interactive way. The program consists of three 30-minute opera performances, each followed by a short period of time for the children to explore instruments and meet the performers.

The program is held once a month on Saturday mornings at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are just $5 for adults and children under 18 are free. For more information, or to purchase tickets, please visit the Bloomington Opera’s website.
