6. “Sweet Home Chicago” by Robert Johnson

One of the most iconic blues songs of all time, “Sweet Home Chicago” was first recorded by Robert Johnson in 1936. Since then, it has been covered by countless artists including Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, and John Mayer. If you’re looking for a classic blues song to add to your repertoire, this is the one.

7. “Kansas City” by Willie Dixon

This shuffle-style blues tune was penned by legendary bluesman Willie Dixon and first recorded by Little Walter in 1952. It has since been covered by a who’s who of blues and rock performers including Muddy Waters, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan. A true classic.

8. “Cross Road Blues” by Robert Johnson
