Chicago Blues Festival

The Chicago Blues Festival is the largest free blues festival in the world and has been held annually in Chicago, Illinois since 1984. The three-day festival attracts more than 500,000 visitors each year and features over 100 blues musicians on six stages.Past performers include Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Bo Diddley, John Lee Hooker, and Buddy Guy. The 2015 festival will be held from June 11-13 in Millennium Park.

Memphis in May

Memphis in May is one of the most popular blues music festivals in the United States. The festival is held annually in Memphis, Tennessee, and features a wide range of musical performances. This year’s edition of the festival will be held from May 7-9, 2015. Some of the confirmed performers include Buddy Guy, B.B. King, and Willie Nelson.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, commonly referred to as Jazz Fest, is a renowned music festival that takes place annually in New Orleans, Louisiana. The festival features a wide range of musical genres, including jazz, blues, R&B, rock n’ roll, and more.

Jazz Fest is one of the most popular music festivals in the United States, and it attracts visitors from all over the world. The festival takes place over two weekends in April, and it features hundreds of musical acts on multiple stages. In addition to the music, Jazz Fest also offers food from some of New Orleans’ best restaurants, as well as crafts and other items from local artisans.

International Blues Challenge

The International Blues Challenge (IBC) is an annual event held in Memphis, Tennessee, United States, hosted by The Blues Foundation. It is the “world’s largest gathering of blues bands and fans”[1] held early every year. It attracts an international crowd of participants and spectators.

The event is open to any solo artist or band who wishes to enter. There are two categories in the challenge, the band category and the solo/duo category. The challenge culminates in a five-night event with two showcases per night. One showcase features bands competing, while the other showcases feature solo/duo artists competing. The final night features the winners of each category playing against each other for the grand prize.

Past winners of the challenge include Joe Bonamassa, Shemekia Copeland, Jarekus Singleton, Robert Cray, Vintage Trouble, Jonny Lang, and Danielle Nicole Band.

North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic

North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic is an annual music festival that takes place in Como, Mississippi. The event is held on the third Saturday in May, and features a wide range of blues and roots music.

The North Mississippi Hill Country Picnic began in 1974 as a small gathering of friends and family who wanted to share their love of music. The event has grown steadily over the years, and now attracts visitors from all over the world.
