The classic rock musical “Headed to Broadway” is headed to Broadway! The show will debut on Broadway in March of 2017, and will feature all of your favorite classic rock hits.

Introduction

“We Will Rock You,” a musical set to the hits of British rock band Queen, is headed to Broadway. The show, which has been a hit in London’s West End since 2002, will open at the Broadhurst Theatre on Nov. 14.

The musical tells the story of a group of rebels who fight against a conformist society that has banned all forms of music except for bland pop. The rebels are led by Galileo Figaro, played by Tony Vincent, and Scaramouche, played by Erin Mackey.

The cast also includes P.J. Griffith as Britney Spears-like pop star Khashoggi, Arrow Rock Lyric Theatre artistic director Michael Gorman as Killer Queen, and Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen as themselves.

“We Will Rock You” will be directed by Christopher Ashley and choreographed by Karina Smirnoff.
