The 2021 CMT Music Awards are just around the corner and we’ve got everything you need to know about the show! From the host, to the nominees, to the performance lineup – we’ve got you covered.

When and where are the awards?

The 58th Annual CMT Music Awards will be held on June 9, 2021. The awards show will broadcast live from Nashville.

This will be the first time in the show’s history that it will take place outdoors at Nashville’s Music City Center. The show is usually held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, but due to the ongoing pandemic, the venue was unavailable.

The CMT Music Awards are voted on by fans and honor the best in country music. This year’s nominees were announced on May 12, 2021.

Maren Morris leads this year’s list of nominees with six nods, followed by Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert with five each. Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line are tied with four nominations apiece.

The awards show will air live on CMT at 8:00 pm ET/PT on June 9, 2021.

Who is nominated?

This year’s CMT Country Music Awards will be held on October 21, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee. The show will be hosted by Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker.

What are the awards?

The 2021 CMT Music Awards will be the 21st annual show to celebrate country music videos and television performances. The awards ceremony will be held on October 20, 2021, and will air live on CMT from Nashville, Tennessee.

This year’s show will feature performances from some of country music’s biggest stars, as well as presentations of awards in various categories. Some of the awards that will be presented at this year’s show include Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, Group Video of the Year, Breakthrough Video of the Year, and more.

In addition to performances and awards presentations, the 2021 CMT Music Awards will also feature special tribute segments honoring some of country music’s most influential artists. These tributes will be announced closer to the date of the show.

The CMT Music Awards are voted on by fans, and nominations for this year’s show are set to be announced in September 2021.
