The Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) is an annual three-day music festival dedicated to electronic music held in Detroit, Michigan, United States. The festival was first held in 2000. Since then, the festival has featured diverse electronic music styles such as techno, house, electro, bass, and many more.

The DEMF takes place on Memorial Day weekend each year. The festival is spread across multiple stages in Hart Plaza and Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit. In addition to the main stages, the festival also features smaller stages called “Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp,” “Digital Dreams,” and “Movement.”

June 3-4: The Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) returns for its 22nd year, bringing two days of world-renowned DJs and live performances to Hart Plaza. This year’s lineup includes Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, and Kenny Larkin, among many others.

The Detroit Electronic Music Festival returns for its 25th anniversary in 2019, and the schedule for the festival has been announced. The festival will take place from July 26-28 at Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit.

On Friday, July 26, the festival will feature performances by Richie Hawtin, Dixon, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex, Joseph Capriati, and more. Saturday’s lineup includes Andy Stott, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, The Black Madonna, and more. Sunday’s lineup features Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Moodymann, Octave One, and more.
