2 Live Crew – “Me So Horny”

“Me So Horny” is a song performed by American hip hop group 2 Live Crew. It was released in 1989 on the album As Nasty As They Wanna Be. The song caused considerable controversy due to its graphic and sexual lyrics, which were deemed obscene by many critics. In 1990, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida ruled that the song was obscene and prohibited its distribution.

N.W.A. – “Straight Outta Compton”

N.W.A.’s “Straight Outta Compton” is not only one of the sickest tracks in the history of hip hop, but the music video is pretty gnarly too. Filled with images of drugs, cash, and women, the video is a perfect example of the seedy side of the rap world.

Sir Mix-a-Lot – “Baby Got Back”

In 1992, the world was introduced to Sir Mix-a-Lot and his anaconda-loving anthem, “Baby Got Back.” The song, which celebrated curvy women, was met with mixed reviews but became a huge commercial success. The accompanying music video was filled with beautiful women shaking their backsides, and it quickly became one of the most controversial music videos of all time.

Cypress Hill – “Insane in the Brain”

At the time of its release, “Insane in the Brain” was one of the most controversial Hip Hop songs ever made. The video features Cypress Hill smoking what appears to be joints made out of human bones, with close up shots of them taking hits off of what looks like a giant bong made out of a human skull. In addition to the offensive visuals, the video also contains explicit language and drug use.

Eazy-E – “Real Muthaphuckkin G’s”

Eazy-E’s “Real Muthaphuckkin G’s” was one of the most controversial hip hop songs of its time. The song is full of profanity and references to violence and drug use. The music video is equally as graphic, featuring footage of gang activity, drug use, and sexual content.

Dr. Dre – “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang”

Dr. Dre’s “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” video features scantily clad women dancing in a pool hall. In one scene, Dre is on top of a pool table with two women gyrating on either side of him. In another scene, a woman dances provocatively in front of a wall of TVs playing the video.

Lil’ Jon & The East Side Boyz – “Get Low”

“Get Low” is the second single from Lil’ Jon & The East Side Boyz’ album Kings of Crunk. The song features Ying Yang Twins and was produced by Lil’ Jon. In 2008, it was ranked number 41 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.

The music video was directed by Marcus Nispel and features Lil’ Jon, Ying Yang Twins, and a number of unidentified women dancing provocatively in a club setting. Throughout the video, the camera focuses on the women’s buttocks and breasts. At one point, Lil’ Jon is shown pouring champagne on a woman’s buttocks.

The video was banned from MTV and BET due to its sexually explicit content. It was later edited for television and released as a “clean version” which features some of the more explicit footage blurred or removed.

50 Cent – “In Da Club”

Many of 50 Cent’s music videos are pretty raunchy, but “In Da Club” takes the cake as the dirtiest of them all. The video features lots of scantily clad women shaking their booties and breasts, while 50 Cent and his buddies drink and smoke in a seedy-looking nightclub. There’s also a scene where a topless woman sprays whipped cream on herself and licks it off. If you’re looking for a hip hop video that’s guaranteed to make you cringe, “In Da Club” is it.

Snoop Dogg – “Drop It Like It’s Hot”

In Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” the rapper can be seen rapping in front of a background of dancing women in bikinis. He also sexually objectifies women throughout the song, with lyrics like “She dropped it, she dropped it, she dropped it like it was hot / She tipped it, she tipped it, I tipped her over and watch her / Bounce bounce bounce now make that ass jump jump jump.”
