The Lyrics

As you could probably guess, the lyrics for “Pinocchio” are pretty deep. Disney’s Soul is a movie about a man who discovers his true purpose in life and it is centered around the idea of following your dreams. The lyrics for “Pinocchio” reflect this message perfectly, with lines like “When you wish upon a star, your dreams will come true.”

The song also talks about how everything in life is connected, and how we are all made of stardust. This is reflected in the line “We’re all part of the story, part of the plan.” This speaks to the idea that we are all connected and that we all have a role to play in the world.

The final verse of “Pinocchio” talks about how love is the most powerful force in the universe. This is reflected in the line “When you open up your heart, love will light the way.” This speaks to the idea that love is the most powerful force in the world and that it can help us find our way even when we are lost.

Overall, the lyrics for “Pinocchio” are very deep and reflective of the movie’s overall message. They are sure to resonate with anyone who hears them.

The Arrangement

This piece was arranged by me for a intermediate level pianist. The accompaniment chords are written above the treble staff and the melody is on the treble staff.

The Intro

“The Intro” is the first track on the official soundtrack album for Disney’s Soul. The song was composed by Jon Batiste, Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross.

“The Intro” starts with a simple piano melody that is gradually joined by a second piano, bass, drums, and brass instruments. The song builds in intensity as it goes along, culminating in a rousing finale.

The sheet music for “The Intro” is included in the official soundtrack album for Disney’s Soul. The song is suitable for intermediate to advanced pianists.

The Verse

The verse of “The Arrangement” is deceptively simple, consisting of only two lines. The first line is made up of four chords – A minor, D minor, G major, and C major. The second line only has three chords – D minor, G major, and C major. At first listen, it may sound like the verse is just repeating itself, but if you listen closely, you’ll notice that the second time through the verse is actually a bit different. The second time through, instead of going from the D minor chord straight to the G major chord, there’s an additional A minor chord in between. This change gives the verse a bit more depth and makes it more interesting to play on the piano.

The Chorus

It’s been a long time coming,
But I know a change is gonna come,
Oh yes it will.
It’s been too hard living,
But I’m not gonna die,
I’ve shut my mouth for far too long.
I’ve been crawling on my knees,
Oh I want to stand up tall,
I want to live again.
I’ve been crying tears at night,
Just waiting for the dawn,
waiting for the sun to shine.
