Aphex Twin

Born in 1971 in Cornwall, England, Richard D. James first began making music as a teenager, experimenting with cassette players and home-made synthesizers. In the late 1980s, he began releasing tracks under the Aphex Twin moniker on a series of influential compilations and EPs that showcased the emerging UK acid house and rave scenes.

James quickly developed a reputation for his inventive use of technology and his ability to create complex, emotionally charged soundscapes. Brian Eno is an English musician, composer, and record producer who has been involved in numerous landmark recordings and collaborations over the past four decades. Boards of Canada

Boards of Canada is a Scottish electronic music duo consisting of brothers Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin. On their self-titled debut EP, released in 1996, the duo explored the ambient and techno genres. In 1998, they released their debut album Music Has the Right to Children, which became one of the most influential works in the history of electronic music. The album was followed by The Campfire Headphase (2005) and Tomorrow’s Harvest (2013).

James Holden

James Holden is an English electronic musician and DJ. Holden first came to prominence as a musician with his second album, The Idiots Are Winning, which was released on Border Community Recordings in 2006. He has since released two more albums on Border Community, entitled Imagine a Place and The Inheritors.

In addition to his work as a solo artist, Holden has been involved in several other musical projects. He is a member of the group Darkside, along with Nicolas Jaar, and he has also collaborated with the French composer Joris Voorn. Holden also runs the record label Border Community Recordings, which has released music by Jaar, Voorn, Darkside, and many other artists.

Oneohtrix Point Never

Oneohtrix Point Never is the stage name of American experimental musician Daniel Lopatin. He has released albums on Warp Records, Mego, Editions Mego, Software Recording Co., and his own label, RVNG Intl. His music often explores the relationship between nostalgia and utopia, with a particular focus on the role of memory in the construction of personal identity.

Lopatin began his musical life as a teenage guitar player in a local hardcore punk band,Fake Movement. He later attended the Boston Conservatory, where he studied classical guitar and composition. After graduation, he began working in various Brooklyn record stores and creating noise music under a variety of pseudonyms. In 2007, he released his first album,Turning Green EP, under the name Oneohtrix Point Never. The following year, he released his debut full-length album Orthodox Dystopia on Software Recording Co.

Lopatin’s second album, Returnal, was released on Editions Mego in 2010. The album was inspired by Lopatin’s experience working at the MoMA PS1 museum in New York City. It was followed by another full-length album, Replica, which was released on Software Recording Co. in 2011.

Lopatin’s third album, Rifts, was released on Warp Records in 2012. The album saw Lopatin move away from the noise music of his earlier work and towards a more atmospheric and synth-based sound. It was followed by another full-length album on Warp Records, Garden of Delete, in 2015.

Lopatin’s fourth album, Age Of Consent (2019), is his first for Warp’s sub-label Coda Collection. The album is inspired by ’80s new wave music and features guest appearances from Underworld’s Karl Hyde and Dev Hynes (Blood Orange).

Lopatin has also composed soundtracks for films such asGood Time (2017) and Uncut Gems (2019).

Tim Hecker

Tim Hecker is a Canadian electronic musician and composer. He has released 10 solo albums and a number of collaborations. His music is often described as dark, meditative and menacing. It often features heavily processed recordings of piano, strings, voice and found sounds.
