This year, the Grammy Awards will once again recognize the best choral performances with the award for Best Choral Performance. This award is given to a conductor or ensemble for a live or recorded choral performance that is released during the eligibility period. Nominations are submitted byRecord labels, producers, and artists. A panel of experts in the field then decides which recordings are worthy of being nominated for a Grammy Award.
