The 90s was a great decade for music. Grunge wall music was one of the most popular genres during that time. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at some of the best grunge wall music of the 90s.

What is Grunge Wall Music?

Grunge Wall Music is a type of rock music that emerged in the early 1990s. It is characterized by its heavy, distorted guitar sound and its raw, emotional lyrics. Grunge Wall music is often seen as a reaction against the polished, synthesized pop music of the 1980s.

The term “grunge” was first used in print in the Seattle weekly newspaper The Rocket in December 1991, when editor Tom Price used it to describe the music of the local band Mudhoney. However, the word did not become widely used to describe the style of music until 1992, when Nirvana’s album Nevermind was released.

Nirvana was one of the most successful grunge bands; their album Nevermind (1991) helped popularize grunge music and led to the mainstream success of other grunge bands such as Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden. Grunge bands were often signed to major record labels such as Sony, Geffen, and Warner Bros., and they achieved commercial success withradio hits and gold- and platinum-selling albums. However, many grunge bands were uncomfortable with their newfound popularity and preferred to maintain an underground status.

In 1994, Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, committed suicide, which some people viewed as a symbol of the end of grunge music. However, grunge music continued to be popular throughout the 1990s. In 1997, Pearl Jam’s album Vs. became the fastest-selling album in history at that time, selling more than 950,000 copies in its first week of release.
