Introduction

Juggernott is a five-piece metal band from New York, NY. They formed in 2010 and have released two albums, “Sons of Odin” (2012) and “The Heaviest Matter of the Universe” (2014). Their music has been described as “a mix of death metal, thrash metal, and black metal”, and they have been compared to bands like Cannibal Corpse, Lamb of God, and Behemoth.

History

Juggernott is a Canadian metal band from Toronto, Ontario. The band was formed in late 2011 by brothers Frank and Joe. Juggernott’s music is described as a mix of thrash metal and groove metal.

Juggernott released their debut EP, “Sons of Thanos”, in 2012. The EP was well received by fans and critics alike. Juggernott’s first full-length album, “Titanomachy”, was released in 2014. The album was once again met with positive reviews.

In 2016, Juggernott released their second full-length album, “War of the Gods”. The album was even more successful than their debut, charting at #1 on the Canadian iTunesMetal Chart and #2 on the US Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Juggernott is currently touring in support of “War of the Gods”.

Juggernott is a five-piece Canadian metal band from Toronto, Ontario. The band is composed of Benoit (vocals), Justin (guitar), Rob (bass), Jesse (drums) and Jamie (keyboards, backing vocals). Juggernott’s musical style has been described as “a cross between Motörhead and Devin Townsend”.[1]

The band’s debut album, Juggernaut, was released on May 10, 2019. The album was met with mixed reviews from music critics.

On Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, the album received an average score of 53, based on four reviews.[2] AllMusic’s Mark Deming gave the album 3 out of 5 stars, writing that “it’s not hard to see why Juggernott wound up with a deal.”[3] Rock Hard magazine was more critical of the album, giving it 6 out of 10 and writing that the band’s songwriting was “not always up to par” but commended their technical ability.[4]
