Lil Uzi Vert first gained mainstream attention after the release of his single, “XO Tour Llif3”, which peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He has since released several other successful singles, including “Money Longer”, “You Was Right”, and “Sauce It Up”.

Vulfpeck

Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan – Vulfpeck is a funk band that has been on the rise over the past few years. The band is composed of Jack Stratton, Woody Goss, Joe Dart, and Theo Katzman. They have released four albums, “Vollmilch” (2012), “Thrill of the Arts” (2015), “The Beautiful Game” (2016), and most recently “Mr. Finish Line” (2017). Selling out shows all over North America and Europe, Vulfpeck has become a force to be reckoned with in the funk music world.

Lettuce

Lettuce is an American funk band formed in 1992. The band consists of six musicians who met while attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston. The band’s musical style has been described as a mix of classic seventies funk and modern hip-hop, with some elements of jazz and rock.

Lettuce has released seven studio albums, the most recent being Elevate, which was released in May of 2018. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan. They have also performed at a number of major music festivals, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Jazz Fest.

Lettuce is widely considered to be one of the premier funk bands of their generation. They have been praised for their tight musicianship, energetic live performances, and ability to blend a variety of genres into their own unique sound. The Meters

The Meters are an American funk band formed in 1965 in New Orleans by Zigaboo Modeliste (drums), George Porter Jr. (bass), Leo Nocentelli (guitar) and Art Neville (keyboards). The band performed and recorded their own brand of Southern soul-funk, and are often cited as one of the progenitors of that genre.

The Meters disbanded in 1977, but have been reformed several times over the years, with all four original members taking part in reunions from time to time. They were inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2009, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
