What is EDM?

EDM, or electronic dance music, is a genre of music that is often played in nightclubs, festivals, and other venues where people go to dance. The music is mostly produced by DJs who use turntables and mixers to create new and original songs. EDM has become one of the most popular genres of music in recent years, and its popularity shows no signs of slowing down.

There are many different subgenres of EDM, but the two most popular are house music and trance music. House music is characterized by a4/4 time signature, a steady beat, and often features synthesizers and other electronic instruments. Trance music is typically slower than house music, with a tempo that ranges from 130 to 160 beats per minute. It also often features synthesizers and other electronic instruments, but the focus is on creating a feeling of euphoria or ecstasy.
