The International Country Gospel Music Association (ICGMA) is a membership organization that was created for the purpose of advancing Country Gospel Music throughout the world.

What is the ICGMA?

The International Country Gospel Music Association (ICGMA) is an American country music and gospel music association formed in 1992 by JJ Hairston. The organization is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

The ICGMA works to promote country gospel music through its annual awards show, radio show, and website. The ICGMA also provides resources for artists and industry professionals, such as a directory of professionals in the country gospel music industry.

The ICGMA’s History

The International Country Gospel Music Association (ICGMA) was founded in 1991 by country gospel music artists Debby Kerner and Dottie Rambo. The mission of the ICGMA is to promote and support the ministry of country gospel music around the world.

The ICGMA is a membership organization made up of country gospel music artists, songwriters, promoters, managers, and fans from around the globe. Membership is open to anyone who loves and supports country gospel music.

The ICGMA holds an annual awards show to recognize and honor the achievements of its members in the field of country gospel music. The awards show is held in Nashville, Tennessee, USA and is open to the public.

The ICGMA’s Mission

The International Country Gospel Music Association(ICGMA) was established for the purpose of advancing country gospel music around the world. The ICGMA provides a vehicle forpromoting country gospel music artists, groups and ministries; providing education through seminars and workshops; and awarding honors and recognition through its annual awards show. The ICGMA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation.

The ICGMA’s Awards

The ICGMA’s Awards are annually presented to individuals and groups in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the genre of Country Gospel Music. Awards are given in the following categories: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Duo/Group of the Year, Band of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Lyrics Only Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year.

The ICGMA’s Members

The International Country Gospel Music Association (ICGMA) was founded in 2006 by a group of music enthusiasts who wanted to promote and support religious and spiritual music. The ICGMA is a membership organization that represents a variety of genres, including country, gospel, spiritual, bluegrass, and folk.

The ICGMA’s members are singers, songwriters, musicians, record labels, promoters, radio stations, and other individuals and organizations who are involved in the country gospel music industry. The organization’s mission is to “provide a forum for the discussion of the country gospel music industry; to serve as a resource for information about the industry; and to provide opportunities for networking and collaboration.”

The ICGMA hosts an annual awards show to recognize excellence in country gospel music. The organization also offers a variety of resources for its members, including discounts on products and services related to the music industry.

The ICGMA’s Board of Directors

The ICGMA’s Board of Directors is made up of some of the most influential people in country gospel music. With a wealth of experience and knowledge between them, they are able to offer support and advice to both members and non-members alike.

The ICGMA is currently under the leadership of CEO/Founder Dale Morris and President Steve Lester. The Board of Directors is made up of dedicated men and women from around the world who love Gospel music and wish to see it prosper. We also have an amazing team of Regional Representatives who work tirelessly to promote the Association in their areas. Dale Morris, CEO/Founder
Dale Morris is a veteran Country Gospel music promoter, artist manager, concert promoter, radio show host, and music industry consultant. He has been promoting Gospel music for over 30 years and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. He is a former radio DJ, and his love for Gospel music began at an early age when he would listen to his father’s records.

Steve Lester, President
Steve Lester has been involved in the Country Gospel music industry for over 20 years. He is a successful songwriter, recording artist, and concert promoter. He has a passion for hardware and software design, which he uses to help promote and run the ICGMA.

our Board of Directors consists of men and women from around the world who are dedicated to seeing Gospel music prosper. They are experienced leaders in the music industry who have a heart for this genre of music.

The ICGMA’s Newsletter

The International Country Gospel Music Association (ICGMA) is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting country gospel music around the world. The ICGMA’s Newsletter is published quarterly, in February, May, August, and November.
