How to Find and Download Songs
When you purchase and download music from the iTunes Store, the songs or videos are saved on your computer in your iTunes “Media” folder. By default, this folder is in your “My Music” or “Music” folder (depending on your operating system), and it can be located in the following places:
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\
Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8: \Users\username\Music\
Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music/iTunes/
To find your iTunes Media folder:
Open iTunes.
From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Edit > Preferences.
Click the Advanced tab.
Look for the iTunes Media folder location. By default, this location is inside your “My Music” or “Music” folder. If you see a different location listed under iTunes Media folder location, click Choose (Mac OS X) or Browse (Windows) to select it now. Then click OK to save your changes.
