Junk Funk is a five-piece band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2013 by brothers Steve and John. The band’s music is a mix of funk, rock, and hip-hop. The band has released two albums, “Junk Funk” (2014) and “Funktastic” (2016).

The Junk Funk Band started in 2002 as a three-piece band featuring drummer/vocalist Steve Johnson, guitarist/vocalist Mikey C and bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Jason W. The band has gone through several lineup changes over the years, but the core of the group has always been the three founding members.
The band has released four albums: “Junk Funk” (2002), “Funk it Up” (2004), “Groove 2 Move” (2006) and “Moving On” (2009). They have also appeared on numerous compilations and have had their songs featured in commercials, TV shows and movies.
