CNCO took home four awards at this year’s Latin American Music Awards, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year!

The Latin American Music Awards (LAMAS) is an annual awards show that celebrates the best and brightest in Latin American music. This year, the LAMAs were held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, and CNCO took home the award for Artist of the Year.

CNCO’s Latin American Music Awards 2021 was a huge success! The group took home five awards, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. CNCO’s music has been a huge success in Latin America, and the group is now one of the most popular music groups in the world.

CNCO’s Music Career

CNCO is a five-member Latin boyband that was formed in 2015 on the first season of La Banda. The group is composed of Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colon, Christopher Vélez, and Zabdiel De Jesús. They are currently signed to Sony Music Latin. CNCO has released two studio albums, one live album and seven singles. The band’s self-titled debut album peaked at number four on the US Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and was certified Platinum (Latin) in the United States. Primera Cita, their second album was released in August 2016. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and was also certified Platinum (Latin) by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The group’s first single “Tan Fácil” peaked at number 38 on the US Billboard Latin Songs chart. “Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)” became their breakout hit, which peaked at number one in ten countries including Spain and Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. “Hey DJ” peaked at number one on fourteen Billboard charts including the Billboard Hot Latin Songs. “Happy Happy” and “Sólo Yo” peaked at number one on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart.

CNCO took home the award for Artist of the Year at the Latin American Music Awards 2021! This is a huge win for the boys considering they are up against some stiff competition. CNCO has been working hard and this just goes to show that their hard work is paying off. We can’t wait to see what they do next!

CNCO is celebrating a big win!

The Latin American Music Awards 2021 took place Thursday night (April 15) and the boys took home the award for Favorite Artist – Male.

This is the second time CNCO has won the award, previously taking home the trophy in 2019.

CNCO is no stranger to taking home awards. The group has also won three awards at the Premios Juventud, five Billboard Latin Music Awards, one iHeartRadio Music Award and one MTV Europe Music Award.

CNCO’s Music Career

CNCO is a five-piece Latin boy band formed in 2015 through the second season of La Banda. The group is composed of Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho, Erick Brian Colón, Christopher Vélez and Zabdiel De Jesús. They signed with Sony Music Latin in February 2016 and released their self-titled debut album on April 7, 2017. The album peaked at number two on the US Billboard Latin Albums chart and number four on the US Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.

The group achieved success with their second album, CNCO World Tour: Live in Madrid (2019), which peaked at number one on the US Latin Pop Albums chart and number eight on the US Billboard 200. In 2020, they released their third studio album, Hoy Somos Más, which peaked at number four on both the US Latin Pop Albums chart and the US Billboard 200.

The group has won numerous awards throughout their career, including three Latin American Music Awards, three Premios Juventud awards, two iHeartRadio Music Awards and one MTV Video Music Award.
