The 26-year-old singer, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is up for the coveted Album of the Year prize for his second studio album El Último Tour Del Mundo, as well as Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Urban Fusion/Performance for his track “Te Deseo Lo Mejor.”

He is also up for Best Urban Music Album, Best Urban Song, Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album (non-classical), among others.

Bad Bunny’s El Último Tour Del Mundo debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in December 2020, making him the first Latin artist in history to score two number one albums on the chart in one year.

He is also the first artist to achieve this feat with two all-Spanish-language albums, following his collaboration LP Oasis with fellow reggaeton star J Balvin.

Bad Bunny was born on March 10, 1994, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. His real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. He has three sisters: Gabriela, Mía, and Vanessa Martinez. His parents are Josefa “Cheo” Ocasio and Alfonso Martínez. His mother worked as a teacher and his father was a farmworker. He grew up in a rural area outside of Vega Baja.
