“Best I Ever Had” by Drake
“Best I Ever Had” is a song recorded by Canadian rapper Drake for his first studio album Thank Me Later (2010). The song became a commercial success peaking at number two on the United States Billboard Hot 100 and serving as one of the lead singles of Thank Me Later. “Best I Ever Had” was ranked first on Complex’s “The Best Hip-Hop Songs of 2009” list, as well as ninth on Spin’s “The 101 Best Songs of 2009” list. The artwork used for the single cover took place in Toronto and was shot by Canadian photographer Simon Shaw.

“Obsessed” is a song performed by American singer Mariah Carey. The song was released on June 16, 2009, through Island Records, as the lead single from her twelfth studio album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (2009). Written and produced by Carey, Flavor Unit and The-Dream, the song borrows influence from 1980s pop and new jack swing music. Additionally, it contains elements of stuttering R&B and a thumping bassline. Lyrically, the song is written as a first-person narrative from the point of view of an obsessed woman that is stalking her former lover.
Critical reception for “Obsessed” was generally positive. The song peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in Carey’s native United States, giving her forty-seventh top ten single overall; tying her with Elvis Presley for second place for most top ten hits in the history of that chart. In Canada, the song also peaked at seven on the Canadian Hot 100. Elsewhere “Obsessed” peaked within the top ten of Austria, Germany and Norway; as well as peaking in the top twenty of Australia and Switzerland. The song has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) denoting shipments two million copies in that country alone.

“Run This Town” is a song by American rapper Jay-Z. The song features American R&B singer Rihanna and American rapper Kanye West. It was released on August 31, 2009, as the lead single from Jay-Z’s 11th studio album, The Blueprint 3 (2009).
The song was co-produced by West and music producer No I.D., with additional production being handled by The Neptunes. “Run This Town” samples “The Boss” by Diana Ross, written by Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers and performed by Ross. The song received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the production and lyrical content, while others criticized its use of Learn More gender roles.

“Whatcha Say” is a song by American singer Jason Derulo, released as the lead single from his self-titled debut album. The song was written by Derulo, J. R. Rotem, and Sean Douglas and produced by Rotem. It samples the 1988 song “Hide & Seek” by Imogen Heap. “Whatcha Say” peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming Derulo’s first number-one single on that chart.
