PVRIS’s music has been described as a mixture of multiple genres, most notably synth-pop, alternative rock, dream pop, electropop, and dark pop. All three members contribute to the band’s songwriting and production. Lynn Gunn wrote the majority of the material on both White Noise and All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell, with Alex Babinski co-writing all but one song on the latter album. Brian Macdonald is credited as a composer on “White Noise” and “Heaven”, as well as playing additional instrumentation across both albums. Gunn produces all drums herself.
