Maluma brought the heat to the Latin American Music Awards with his incredible performance!

This past weekend, the Latin American Music Awards (LAMAS) took place in Los Angeles, CA at the Dolby Theatre. The show was hosted by Ana de la Reguera and Sebastian Rulli and honored the biggest names in Latin music.

One of the night’s most anticipated performances came from Colombian reggaeton singer Maluma. The 24-year-old singer, who is one of the most popular artists in Latin music today, took to the stage to perform his new single “Corazon.”

As expected, Maluma put on a wild performance that had the entire audience on their feet. He started things off by emerging from a cloud of smoke, riding a motorcycle onto the stage. He then proceeded to dance his way through an intense choreographed routine with a group of shirtless male dancers.

Maluma’s reaction to his wins

Maluma could not contain his excitement after taking home four awards at the Latin American Music Awards on Thursday night.

The Colombian singer won in the categories of Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist, Song of the Year for “Felices los 4” and Favorite Collaboration for his song with Shakira, “Chantaje.”

“I’m so happy, so grateful,” he said onstage after accepting his award for Song of the Year. “This is for my dad, who’s not here today. This is for all the haters out there. I love you so much.”

The 24-year-old also dedicated his award for Favorite Male Artist to his mother.

“This is for my mom because she’s my No. 1 fan,” he said. “She’s always there for me, she supports me and she’s helped me get to where I am today.”

Maluma ended his night by performing a medley of his hits, including “Borro Cassette,” “El Perdedor” and his collaboration with Ricky Martin, “Vente Pa’ Ca.”
