This week’s selection is a little bit different than what we usually choose. We’ve decided to go with a more mellow, acoustic song.

The track is called “Number Six” by the band The Paper Kites. The song is off of their album “Twelvefour,” which was released in 2016.

This particular song has a really beautiful, wistful sound to it. The lyrics are about a relationship that didn’t quite work out, and feeling like you were never really good enough for the other person.

There’s something really relatable about that feeling, and the paper kites capture it perfectly in this song. If you’re looking for a sad, introspective track to listen to this week, this is the one for you.
