No me Ames is a song recorded by American singer Jennifer Lopez for her fourth studio album, On the 6 (1999). It was released as the lead single from the album on June 1, 1999, by Epic Records. The song was written by Marco Antonio Solís and Glenutton, while production was handled by Miguel “Africanism All Stars” Flores, who interpolated Mambo No. 5 into the composition.

Lyrically, “No Me Ames” is about a couple in love who are trying to convince themselves that they should not be together because it would only end in pain. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics, who praised its production and Lopez’s vocal performance.
