The New Zealand funk band, The Naked and Famous, have released a new music video for their song, “Punching in a Dream” that is sure to get people talking. The video features close-up shots of a man’s penis as he goes about his day-to-day activities.

Introduction

New Zealand funk band Parliament of Rooks have released a new music video, and it’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a band with a name like that.

The song, “Big Dick Energy,” is a ode to, well, big dicks. And the video features a close-up shot of a (confirmed prosthetic) penis for its entirety. It’s safe to say that this is not your typical music video.

But then again, Parliament of Rooks are not your typical band. Formed in 2016, the self-described “sexual liberation party crew” is known for their outrageous stage shows and provocative lyrics. And they seem to be reveling in their own filthiness – just take a look at their Twitter bio, which reads: “We make dirty funk music for dirty people.”

The band has been openly sex-positive from the start, and they say that their mission is to help people feel more comfortable with their own sexuality. In an interview with Vice, singer Ezmeralda Raven explained: “People are so quick to be disgusted by sex… We just wanted to create art that celebrates sexuality.”

“Big Dick Energy” is the first single off of Parliament of Rooks’ debut album, Prawn Star, which is set to be released later this year.

The Band

The band, called “The Naked and Famous”, is a New Zealand-based funk band that has just released a new single and music video called “Peeniksen” which features the entire band naked except for their black lace-up sneakers. The video is set in a dark room with red walls and features the band members playing their instruments and singing while completely naked. At one point in the video, the lead singer walks over to a bookshelf and pulls out a book called “The Joy of Sex.” The video has been viewed over 1 million times on YouTube and has generated a lot of buzz online.

The band has said that they are not trying to be controversial or shock people with their video, but rather they are trying to make a statement about body image and self-acceptance. In an interview with Vice, the lead singer said: “We made this video because we wanted to celebrate the human body in all its forms… We believe that all bodies are beautiful, no matter what size, shape, or color they are.”

The video has been praised by many as a refreshing take on body image in the music industry. One commentator wrote: “It’s so nice to see a music video that celebrates bodies of all shapes and sizes instead of just one type.” Another said: “This is what body positivity looks like!”

The Music Video

The Funk band, have created a new genre of music, which they have cleverly called “Penis Music”. The video starts with the lead singer saying “This is a song about a penis” and then proceeds to sing about all the different ways that a penis can be used. From there, the video goes into a comical montage of different people using their penises in various ways.

The video has been met with mixed reactions, with some people finding it hilarious and others feeling that it is tasteless and inappropriate. However, the band has defended their video, saying that it is meant to be funny and not offensive.

The Reaction

The internet is going crazy over a recent music video release by a New Zealand funk band. The band, called “Funkenstein,” released the video for their song “Iggy,” which features a close-up shot of a penis for the entire four minute and thirty second runtime.

While some people are calling the video artful and groundbreaking, others are outraged, calling it pornographic and offensive. The video has been banned from YouTube and other major streaming platforms, but it is still available on the band’s website.

What do you think? Is the video art or pornography? Let us know in the comments!
