Mark Ronson is a British-American musician, DJ, and record producer. He is best known for his work with Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars. Ronson has won multiple Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year. He is also a member of the band Superorganism.

Ronson was born in London to Jewish parents, Laurence Ronson, a real estate developer, and Ann Dexter-Jones, an actress. His mother is from a Catholic background, while his father is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. Ronson has five siblings: Charlotte, Alexander, Rebecca, Joshua, and Henrietta. He also has two step-siblings: Roman and Natasha from his mother’s prior marriage to Mick Jones of Foreigner.

Ronson’s parents divorced when he was nine years old; his father moved to New York City while Ronson remained in London with his mother.
