Welcome to our guide to opera music in Berlin! This five-day festival features some of the best operatic talent in the world, performing a wide variety of works from the classical repertoire. Whether you’re a die-hard opera fan or new to the genre, you’re sure to find something to enjoy at this unique event.

on September 15th, the festival kicks off with a production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.” This timeless opera tells the story of the legendary womanizer Don Juan, and his eventual comeuppance. On September 16th, Verdi’s “Rigoletto” will be performed. This tragic opera tellsthe story of a hunchbacked court jester who takes revenge on the Duke who has wronged him.

On September 17th, another Mozart opera, “The Marriage of Figaro,” will be performed. This delightful work is one of Mozart’s most popular operas, and tells the story of a day in the life of Figaro, a Barber. The next day, September 18th, features Giuseppe Verdi’s “Il Trovatore.” This passionate opera tells the story of two men who are vying for the love of the same woman during the Spanish Inquisition. The festival comes to a close on September 19th with Richard Wagner’s “Die Walküre.” This powerful opera tells the story of a family torn apart by secrets and betrayals.
