Close Enough is excited to release their new reggae-style music video ‘Better Than Me’. The track is off of their most recent album ‘Heart of the Sun’, which was released in August of this year. The video was filmed on location in Negril, Jamaica and directed by up-and-coming Jamaican director Rasheed Barrett.

In the spirit of Close Enough’s carefree and easy-going attitude, the video for ‘Better Than Me’ is a fun and light-hearted look at life in Negril. The footage captures the laid-back vibes of the island, from the pristine beaches to the vibrant streets. Barrett expertly captures the essence of Close Enough’s music with his sunny cinematography and upbeat editing.

Close Enough is a five-piece band from Brooklyn, New York, who play a mix of reggae, rock, and hip-hop. The band is made up of brothers Jesse (vocals/guitar) and Jared (drums), along with their friends Andy (bass), Ian (keyboards), and Gabe (percussion).

The band got its start when Jesse and Jared were in college together and began playing music together in their dorm room. Since then, they have released two EPs – “Close Enough” (2012) and “Hangin’ On” (2014) – and are currently working on their debut album.
