· Jiheim Isaac Joseph Hayes III (born August 20, 1942), better known as Isaac Hayes, is an American singer-songwriter, actor, voice actor and producer. Hayes was one of the creative forces behind the Southern soul music label Stax Records, where he served both as an in-house songwriter and as a producer of many hit records by Stax artists such as Sam & Dave, Carla Thomas, The Staple Singers, and Johnnie Taylor. As a performer, Hayes voiced the character of Chef from the animated Comedy Central series South Park from 1997 until his death in 2008. On August 5, 2003, Hayes was honored as a BMI Icon at the annual BMI Urban Awards. Throughout his songwriting career, Hayes received five Grammy Awards and was inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2002) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame (2005). In addition to his five Grammy Awards, he was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1992. He was also ranked number 37 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of “The Greatest Artists of All Time”.

Venue

The Soul Beach Music Festival is returning to the island of Aruba for its 21st year from May 27-30, 2021, and the lineup has just been announced. Headliners include R&B and hip-hop superstars Usher, Lil’ Kim, and Trey Songz, as well as reggae legends Morgan Heritage and Shaggy.

The four-day festival will take place at the newly renovated Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, featuring two outdoor concert stages, a beach party stage, and a VIP pool party stage. In addition to the musical performances, there will also be fashion shows, comedy shows, and celebrity basketball games.
